Default Ouch! pulled my groin

So I am on the 4th workout in stage 2 and as I was doing my reverse lunge with forward reach I pulled my groin on the left side. I had no problem with this exercise the other day so I increased my wts and on the first stinking rep I feel this searing pain. So any bets on how long this will put me down? Would you recommend I just take the rest of the week off and start over Monday? Or do you have any suggestions on maybe an upper body workout the rest of this week and pick NROL4W up where I left off next week?

I'm sorry that my first reaction at this thread title was to chuckle. Pulling your groin hurts worse than anything.

I say ice it, rest, and see how your body feels when your next workout rolls around. If you can do some light cardio, you might try that to keep the blood pumping and loosen things up. Stay on plan, but take the time you need.

That said, if it were me, I'd be PISSED I pulled my groin. I hate missing weight workouts!

No kidding, I was so pissed. All I could think about was how I just set myself back. I have been icing it off an on all day and will continue. I know it isn't the end of the world but I feel like I was starting to see some changes in some trouble spots and now it will have to wait.

Ice it. Go for a walk or bike ride, and stretch (gently) afterward.

You will likely need to modify some of the upcoming workouts. Aim to stay painfree before increasing weights. And you will probably need to add some additional exercises into your warm up to be sure your groin is fully warmed up before lifting.
