Default shoulder flexibility

I'm having trouble with my overhead flexibility. I can't raise my arms straight above my head when standing or on the floor with knees bent at 90 degress, I'm a good 3 inches away. Also I find it hard to raise my lower arms above parallel on the scapular wall slide from the inside out DVD. I've been stretching my lats by holding on to something and leaning back but they don't seem very tight. Do you think overhead shoulder dislocations would be a good idea? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ART and SMR my friend. I'm not a big fan of static stretching, but maybe that will help you too (like you are doing). Continue to do wall slides everyday (not to failure or anything like that)....pulling exercises more than pushing and hit up the "cobra" movements.

How about thoracic mobility drills, or tennis balls around your scaps and pec minor?
