Default Groin/Adductor Pain, Need Advice Please

About 7 months ago I noticed (and I can't direct you to the cause or remember it just kind of came about) a real tightness in my groin/adductor area.

I have tried now a lot of different mobility work, been reading the sites but I just feel like I am missing something because it hasn't gotten any better.

In general my body is very knotted. I have knots and tightness everywhere, no matter how much I stretch it doesn't seem to help. If I take and hold my hand tight in the middle of my hamstring/adductor area and then try to open my legs I can get much further, so I wasn't even sure if it was a tight hamstring problem. Again I have been doing SMR work, static, etc. I really have read around but can't figure it out!

Here is a picture to help me describe some. The pain it causes is a sharp tear pain. There is no pushing it further past that point.

Basically it doesn't keep me from doing anything. I can run fine, squat fine, deadlift fine, etc. The only thing I can't do is these movements or a sumo lunge, basically anything that requires me to spread my legs wide. I am afraid this will lead to other problems and muscle imbalances. PLus flexibilty is important as I am going to start martial arts and I fear what hasn't been to much of a problem will become a worse one.

I can't afford a doctor or PT right now. If it is something that would require surgery well I can't do it anyway so if you have anything or ideas of what I could do to help I would be in debt to you.I am sure one visit to a doc would tell me, but I can't. If you need more info, let me know.
