Chronic wrist pain
Hi,
I've have chronic wrist pain on my left wrist for quite a long time now(a few years), and it has prevented me from doing heavier lifts with a supinated grip, such as barbell bicep curls, even on an EZ-bar. No big deal since I hardly do curls anyway and I can do them with a dumbbell without much issue. It otherwise doesn't interfere much with my daily life.
However, just last Saturday, I think I may have made the injury worse while doing my max effort bench and/or trying out flipping a 550lb tire for the first time. I didn't feel much on the day itself, but from Sunday till now I've had pain while rotating my wrist either way, and even basic movements such as shaking off excess water after washing my hands, and turning the steering wheel. It is especially pain when I externally rotate into supination.
I'm wondering what I can do to alleviate the pain other than RICE?
