Default Strained Groin

1. When did the pain begin?

2. What were you doing at the time? Or did the pain come on gradually over time?
I strained it doing Back Squats, came forward a bit on to my toes squatting 275lbs and felt it pull/strain.

3. Where, anatomically, is the pain?

Right Groin tendon/muscle going into/near the testicle and up the front part of the right hip.

4. What does the pain feel like? Sharp? Dull? Aching? Stabbing? Shooting?
Depending on the movement its most of the time a dull ache but can be sharp and stabbing if moved quickly or suddenly.

5. Is the pain constant, or intermittent, or only on certain motions?
Mostly with movement.

6. What motions make your pain worse?
Squatting, pressure movements, moving the leg out to the right or forward lfiting.

7. What, if anything, makes your pain better?
Nothing yet.

8. Does your pain radiate to any other part of your body?
Rear right hip some.

9. What things could you do before, that you cannot do now because of your injury?
Heavier weighted squats now I dont go anywhere above 185 because of the pain.

10. What is your main concern regarding the pain and its consequences?
I want it to recover properly so I can continue squatting.

11. Have you ever injured that part of your body before? If so, how?

2 times prior I have strained the same groin doing Brazillian Jiu Jitsu.

12. Is your pain getting worse over time? And if so, how much worse over what time period?
Staying the same but I am not trying to push the squats to my normal load levels.

Have you been icing? If not, you should ... if yes, then continue.
Two weeks post injury ... start some gentle stretching of the area. You can also massage it to break up any scar tissue.
You probably need to be evaluated by a professional (in person) to see what other deficits/abnormalities you have going on to contribute to this area being injured multiple times ...
