Default Strained forearm from curling - anyone else ever do this?

Anyone ever strain their forearm from doing a curling movement? The last week or so, my right forearm has been tender when I try to mimic a curling, hammer or regular, movement. It feel tender about a couple of inches past my elbow on the ?inside? of my forearm, as opposed to the outer portion.

The odd thing is that it feels completely normal during any pulling, rowing or deadlifting type movements.

About the only thing I can think I did was try a few sets of curls using a straight Oly bar instead of the normal EZ curl bar that I normally use. I remember it feeling kind of weird, but I didn?t think much of it.

Anyone else ever strain their tendon(s) in their forearms? Did you just take it easy for a few weeks and let them heal on their own? I really can?t immobilize my arm since I need both of them to work, and it only hurts when I try to lift anything in a ?curling? type motion.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions you guys can offer.

Cheers all,
Scott

Sounds like a medial epicondylitis ... ice it and lay off the curls for a bit ... I would probably also stretch it (hands on a table with elbows straight, rotate your fingers to point toward your body).
