Default How much does ART cost?

Just wondering if anybody has any ballpark figures on how much a good ART session costs or if it varies way to much among different practitioners?

It has always been between $45-70 depending on who I had do it. You can usually find a chiro and call and ask. Most chiro's who do ART have a cash rate for people who aren't using insurance that would just cover ART treatments.

My ART guy charges $20 for the first session; and it's free thereafter because of insurance. It's awesome.

You suck, ninja. My guy is $80 the first time and $65 thereafter. My insurance doesn't cover it.

That's why I haven't been in three years.

Damn, that's not bad at all. I was thinking $100 at least. I'll have to give them a call, thanks people!

I've had an awful time trying to even talk to my insurance company about it. I try to describe what I want, so they refer to me to physical therapists. The PT office says they don't do ART. After some go-around between my primary doc and the insurance company, they refer me to a chiro who's in-network. Chiro says he's in network and does ART, but the insurance company will only pay for it if he does spinal adjustments, not ART.

Apparently insurance is just a scam to get part of my paycheck every week.
