Default Are Deadlifts ok with poor thoracic mobility?

While rehabing my shoulder impingement (on my right shoulder) I have discovered that I definitely have poor thoracic mobility (particularly my upper back on the left side going towards the base of my neck/ levator scap?). I am currently doing some I/O daily, which is helping my mobilty and my overall shoulder health. I am also doing face pulls, shrugs, and incline pushup pluses about 3x a week. I am doing leg work 1-2x a week on a different day...I would like to start doing DB Deadlifts again (probably from a snatch position in the beggining). Does this pose a problem for my upper back since my thoracic spine still isn't quite up to par? Or, would they be good for me since I would be really hitting those upper back muscles pretty good? As always, thanks. I have learned a ton about shoulder health from this site (even more then I have from my physical therapy)!
