Default Knee Pain During Flexion and Extension

Last night in my basketball game with about 2 minutes left, I hurt my knee. Not doing anything special, just while jogging. Now I have pain during flexion and extension when I get near 90 degress. Running hurts. Doing leg curls on a ball hurts. Squats do not hurt.

The pain is located on the outside of my knee. I have been foam rolling to try and fix this but nothing yet.

Ideas?

Thanks,

Could you be a little more specific about "hurt"ing your knee?

If it is that acute Kevin, foam rolling will probably not help ... instead try icing ... and give us more details so we can more effectively help ...

Thanks for the replies!

I just got off the phone with Mike "The Ass-Master" Robertson

Looks like it will be icing and foam rolling.

Thanks!

Honestly, it just sounds like he bumped knees with someone, as there was actual bruising and point-tenderness. Nothing too exciting in this case
