Default Post Inside/Out questions for bill and mike

Hi Bill and Mike,
First off just wanted to say thanks so much for your amazing product inside/out. I really enjoyed watching it (picked it up at Cressey's sturdy shoulder seminar) and have used many of the movements before workouts. However, since I am primarily doing Olympic lifting, I have perhaps not used them as often as I should have (though the rufus complex is great and I use it all the time). Anyway, after reading your latest article "Push-Ups, Face Pulls, and Shrugs ...for Strong and Healthy Shoulders!" (which was also really informative), I noticed the pictures of the truck driver vs powerlifter, and asked my friend to look at me in the same position and compare. I'm not sure whether I have the same problem as them, but it seems as though my right side is clearly different from my left. (I also may be crazy, but it seems as though my spine is sort of crooked, something I'm sure a doctor would have informed of..) I have included a short clip of me going through a bunch of different movements (got the idea from rockhard) and a few pictures of me doing some of the postural tests. I would appreciate any advice you could give me.

Thanks again in advance.

You need to fix your pelvic problem. You have an extreme anterior tilt. It appears to be a tad more rotated forward on the right.

This increases your lumbar curve and produces rotation that alters posture up the kinetic chain to the T-spine and then the shoulder.

You could spend months trying to correct shoulder issues but nothing happens if you don't address the pelvis.

Bill, thanks so much! I always hear anterior pelvic tilt and lordosis used in the same sentence.. do i have both? No kyphosis though, right?
Also, how do you recommend i go about fixing this? From the research I have done, it seems as though there are multiple causes (weak abs, hamstrings, tight low back, etc)? I don't even know where to start... (possibly mike's core training for smart folks??)

I am olympic lifting 4 timers per week, will this need to stop while i fix my issue?

I also wonder if this other problem i have been having is connected to this..

Basically, my left foot is always slightly ahead of my right foot when i am catching cleans and squatting.. i do this involuntarily. When i am standing normally, its not so apparent, but when i squat (especially heavy) and catch cleans my left foot is always ahead of my right foot. It seems as though i always compensate by twisting to the right as I ascend.

Could this be connected to the difference in pelvic tilt on either side (which, if I understand correctly, means that my pelvis is anteriorly titled further on the right side than on the right.

Thank you for all your advice!
