Shoulder - front raise to horizontal brings pain.....
Ok... lets see if I can describe this. Arm down to side... I lift it
straight in front of me and I get a little twinge about a quarter of the
way up and then more as I raise it to horizontal. This is with my palm facing down. If I rotate my palm up the pain goes away but will come back if I raise my arm past horizontal. If I go past horizontal
with my arm still straight out in front of me but palm down it gets less again. If I hold
my arm horizontally but out to the side of me I feel no pain but as I bring
it in so that it is straight out in front of me I being to feel pain about
half way and the pain is consistent and constant as my arm is in front of
me. Another way to show it is if I place my left hand on my right shoulder
and try to point my elbow up I get pain as well.
I have never had pain before but I was doing bench work with 3 rep sets and a day or so later I am getting this pain.
Help!?

What you are describing is called a "painful arc" and the other test is for impingment ... you need to ice it and rest it. There has been lots of threads addressing impingment and tendonitis in the shoulder ... try doing a search ...
