Default Wrist pain, need some prehab ideas

1. A couple of weeks ago.

2. It was the day after testing my RM bench before starting a new lifting program. I think I tweaked it a little bit.

3. It is on the outside of my right hand at the wrist. If my arm is hanging at my side, with my palm facing my thigh, then the pain is slightly below the wrist on the side of the hand facing away from my body.

4. It's just a little twinge when doing certain things - kind of a sharp pain.

5 & 6. It is only on certain motions. Usually when I am holding or squeezing an object with my right hand extended in front of me. Holding weight plates, doorknobs, picking up a bag, etc.

7. After doing some stretches and forearm exercises at the gym the pain disappeared for as long as the 'pump' remained.

8. No.

9. It's not hindering any action, I just want to get it cleared up in case it has the potential to get worse.

10. I don't want it to get worse and stop me from enjoying lifting.

11. No.

12. It's not. Seems to be just staying the same.

It sounds like you just strained it ... could be ligamentous or tendinous ... try some gentle stretching ...

There is also a mobility move that I like ... lace your fingers together with palms together and kind of roll your hands around first in one direction then the other ... I can't really describe it better than that ... and I can't find any photos ... if you can't understand this, let me know and I'll video it and post ...

I think I understand what you're talking about. I'm going to do a lot of stretching and end all my workouts with high rep/tiny weight prehab stuff for a couple of weeks and see if it clears up.

Thanks.
