I'm not Bill, but what I'm thinking is if it's too firm, it may not allow your upper back and buttocks to sink enough so that the springs support your lumbar region, thus your lumbar falls flat causing muscles to tense for eight hours attempting to keep the curve.
As a side question without hijacking, is anyone familiar with the tempur-pedic foam mattress? Any good? More hype than delivery?
