Default Lifting with Shoulder Impingement?

I have been recently diagnosed with shoulder impingement by a Physical Therapist. She gave me some shoulder exercises to do for the next 8-12 weeks and not to do any heavy lifting where my shoulders are involved. So my question is what should I do for exercise in the mean time. Should only do the shoulder exercises or should I continue to do Lower body and core. She told me I could not play basketball which I was using as my conditioning. Can I do sprints or do I have to jog? Any advice would be great help.

Try a search on this forum. I've listed a possible progression and do's and don'ts somewhere on here. If you can't find it, let me know.
