Default Best foam roller?

So, who makes a good, heavy-duty foam roller? I squarshed the hell out of my $10, white one in about week.

Mine is from www.fitter1.com, but only because they're conveniently based out of Calgary and I get a discount there. All the gyms get their rollers from there though and I have yet to see one not last at least a few months.

Eric Cressey recommends the Foam Roller Plus.

Perform Better is having a sale right now. Maybe you can find some discounts on foam rollers there.

Hey, I understand what you are asking and its a good question. But I have to say this to some other's out there...I get asked this a lot, and my answer is "The one that you use"

The best foam roller is the one that you use. I know people that have 3 of them and have used one of them for a week and stopped. Just get a decent one and use it.

Unless you're dead set on buying a name brand one, there are other options.

Packaging foam suppliers (which is what I do) supply Polyethylene (PE) foam extrusions in different diameters, and you can find them online pretty cheap.

My buddy owns a commercial caulking business, and he uses a ton of different size "Backer Rod" to fill gaps, which is essentially a piece of PE. I grabbed an extra piece of 6" diameter from him, and it works great. Best of all, you can buy the stuff cheap and any home improvement store. Just get a heavier density foam so it holds up.

I'm all about being cost-efficient! You should see my home gym.

I have a typical Biofoam and the Elite's. Of the two, the Elites are probably your best choice for cost effectiveness.
