Default If it hurts, it's injured...?

Okay, yet another shoulder question. My right shoulder - I'm right handed - seems to have a twinge of pain in the anterior and posterior deltoideus areas whenever I do anything pushing. ln the past, it seemed that I could warm it up and it would be ok but I've tended to just not do as much pushing motions lately for fear that I might make something worse.

Could it just be yet another one of those aches and pains that you get over time or does the slight pain necessarily indicate an injury? I do exercises intended to strengthen the anterior and posterior delts shown to me by a chiro - and another suggested by Bill - some time back so I'm hoping that these will at least lessen any futher deterioration, if that's what it is.
