Default Fallen Arches

I was recently told that I have fallen arches by my chiroprator. He told me that the best was to correct this is to get custom orthotics, but they are out of my price range at the moment. I tried a cheap pair of 3/4 length orthotics from Dr. Scholls, but they seemed to lose effectiveness after about 3 wks. If anyone knows of any good options let me know.

Are you symptomatic? If so, what's your pain location and pattern.

Most of the pain is in my right arch and it feels kind of like the muscle that runs right up the inside of the arch is extremely tight but no stretches make it feel better.

See a podiatrist if you can. Also the Dr. Scholls inserts are made of very cheap materials. Them wearing out on your in 3 weeks is expected! In the mean time you can massage the bottom of your foot by rolling it on a soup can or have someone massage for you.
