OldGuy Resident Cynic Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Queens, NY Posts: 10,700	Creaking in my Knee Bill, I get this strange creaking sound in my left knee when I do lunges or split squats. It happens when coming up from the lunge and when my leg is straightening. It sounds like it is coming from right over the knee cap. There is absolutely no pain, and I do not have any soreness after working out there. Something to think about, or am I just getting old?
