Default I need a great hummus recipe please?

I was wondering if anyone has a great hummus recipe they would like to share. I am going to google it, but i thought perhaps y'all would have one that is a favorite?

I LOVE hummus, but have never made it myself and would like to do so, so that I can really 'know' the ingredients

I have a good one, but the cookbook is at home. It's pretty simple, though, something like:

can of chickpeas, drained
1/4 cup tahini
juice of one lemon (and zest if you want to get fancy)
cumin (maybe 1/2 a teaspoon?)
clove of garlic (or 2 if you love garlic)
salt and pepper to taste

I throw it all in a food processor and let it go. I feel like the recipe also calls for some olive oil, but I've thinned it out with a tiny bit of water and not known the difference. It's pretty hard to mess up.

^^ that's about what I do
If you don't like (or don't have) tahini (ground sesame seed "butter") you can leave it out. I've heard you can splash in a little toasted sesame oil but I just leave it out if I don't have it and don't really miss it that much. You can add roasted red peppers too for a change.

1 bulb garlic (peeled)
1/4-cup tahini
1 tablespoon olive oil
black pepper 40 turns
salt dash to taste

1) Prepare beans
soak beans overnight with baking soda.
rinse beans

2) In a bowl (or blender if you prefer extra smooth humus and have a good strong blender)

Add all ingredients.
- beans

- olive oil
- lemon juice
- cumin
- pepper
- salt

3) Mix

Option A) blend on slow to medium in blender
Option B) use a hand mixer
Option C) get a strong workout by doing it with a fork and mashing and stirring

4) Serve

Spread out on a plate making a little bowl with the paste
Add a small dollop of olive oil
* add a sprinkle of salt
* add a few grinds of pepper
* add the pine nuts on top, ground or whole

Eat with Carrots to help you recover from injury!
* Protein from Garbanzos to repair tissue
* Sulfur from Garlic to help with protein synthesis
* Vitamin-C from Lemons to help with scar tissue formation
* Vitamin-E from sesame seeds (Tahini)
* Zinc & Calcium come from Garbanzos

I doubled checked the from-memory recipe last night and it's correct as written. Very fool-proof and tasty.
