Default Uses/recipes for labneh (yogurt cheese)

So i made some labneh out of plain ff yogurt and surprisingly enough I didn't screw it up. Anyone have any good recipes or uses for it? I've read its good as a dip, but not sure what to put in it.

Ive also read that it acts as a good thickener for sauces. I have a cottage cheese based cheesecake recipe, if i blended some of the labneh with it, would it help thicken it up? (make it a little more like real cheesecake thickness)

Thanks!

I usually use it anywhere that would normally call for cream cheese.

Veggie dip - mix in shredded carrot, cucumber (drain it to remove excess water), radish, green onion, or whatever veggies are on hand. Season well with salt and freshly ground pepper. Fresh herbs are nice, too. Great on crackers at a party.

Mix in fresh or frozen and thawed berries plus a bit of sugar or splenda. Spread on toast or bagels.

I think labneh will probably work in your cheesecake recipe, but it's hard to say what the results will be without knowing the recipe.

It makes awesome dessert. We traditionally mix it with honey or cocoa powder and whisk it up into a thick cream. Two layers of each in a cup is awesome.

BUT, you can also mix it with the ranch dip powder you buy at the store, or any veggies like RB suggested.

We roast zucchini in lots of olive oil and then serve them on top of strained yogurt mixed with fresh garlic and dill weed, yum You can also poach eggs and serve on top and pour some melted butter with stirred in sweet paprika. Unbeatable

It is also good in tacos. My wife is Lebanese and made me tried it. It is very good but different because I am Canadian and not use to it.
