I like using hummus instead of mayo. Very yummy, especially with a flavored hummus (such as roasted red pepper).

I've also just used mustard instead of mayo.

I like spicy, so I add 1 tbsp/15g sriracha per 3oz tuna, but experiment until you find a comfortable level of heat.

Not sure about availability of this sauce outside the US & Canada, however.

Here is something I tried with tuna, that worked amazingly well.
I eat very little tuna these days, but patties always excite me

I too have just had a bastardized version of this little beauty and it was awesome. I wanted to put this note in here for three reasons:

First: I wanted to thank you for putting it in here. Usually it's the simplest things that turn out to be really helpful in a 'real world' sense

Second: My variation of this was:
1 pack tuna
1/4 cup of egg beaters
salt, pepper, and some Tony Chachere's Spice and Herbs seasoning mix
4 Baked Veggie Crackers (crushed up)

(mixed together and cooked in a Pam Sprayed Skillet)

The nutritional info on this is: 140 calories, 24 grams protein, 7 carbs

Third: I wanted to use the word bastardized.

Tonight's long forgotten dish: a can of tuna with a can of peas, cooked in a tbsp of butter with plenty of black pepper. It was better than I remembered

I like mixing my tuna with avocado. About 1 can tuna per whole avocado.
