Karen,
The closest thing I can think of is any of the cocoa-based Larabars (which I think now are called Jocolat). Those are raw and very nice and dense.

On the other hand, this is a recipe, EXTREMELY detailed for cocoa-laden muffin things that, while called brownies, really aren't unless you're so desparate for chocolate that they will do in a pinch. Their claim to fame is to have 10% or more of darn near every RDA nutrient for each 100 calorie brownie.

I've made them and they are chocolatey and pretty tasty, but I would not pass them off as brownies.

With that lengthy caveat, here is the recipe:

Enjoy...

Oh and Thanks to Misstenacity for the other recipe! That wasn't the particular one I was thinking of but it sounds great. I'm definitely going to give it a try.

I made the brownies yesterday. That was definitely the recipe I was looking for. Tasted great, but I feel a little guilty since I ate so many of them. That's the only thing about eating the healthy version of something tasty. You end up eating way more than should. I guess its better than eating real brownies though. Thanks again for the recipe.
