Default Does anyone have a best juice recipe?

Hi all,
My family drinks way to many sodas, and I am trying to stop them from doing that. My mother is a diabetic and I can't give her orange juice unless her sugar is low. I am looking to make some really good juice drinks. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Juice really isn't a good idea. It's fruit (or veggies) with all the solids, like fiber, tossed out, along with a lot of nutrients. To varying degrees, it's still a "sugar drink," even with no sugar added.

Switch to non-sweetened or artificially sweetened drinks, instead. Diet Soda, water, flavored water (the low and zero calorie ones, like Propel or Crystal Geiser), ice tea, etc.

My mother was diabetic and couldn't even drink V8, which has some fiber and is made from a lot of veggies. When you come down to it, it's almost 100% carbs and very easily shoots into an elevated blood sugar condition.

I hate that surprisingly....juice isnt as good as we thought it to be. Growing up, we remember "drink your juice"...when it should have been water all along!

Hi, it’s very important to have good juice recipes that help you to keep the doctor away and keep healthy. Here I am talking about an article that has two immunity boost juice recipes. The first recipe can boost your immune system's fighting power. The second can help you fight the flu if you already have it while giving your immune system a boost. You can enjoy these juices as much or as little as you want. You can drink one everyday or up to three times a day depending on if you are sick or just improving your immune system. Remember, listen to your body. If you are juicing often and your body is sending you signals to slow down your intake, read an article about organic juice recipe …..

There's nothing magical about juice. Nutrition food, exercise, and rest are what keep you healthy. And, flu is a virus. You can do things to feel better, but it really just has to run it's course. Juice might be an alternative if you simply can't eat solid food, but you're still better off eating the fruit and vegetables and not juicing away a good portion of their ingredients.

People are kidding themselves by thinking juice is as good or better than the whole foods that it comes from.

Quote:
3 carrots chopped into ¼" pieces
1 stalk of celery chopped into ¼" pieces
1 apple chopped into ¼" pieces
½ cucumber chopped into ¼" pieces
½ beet with the greens, beet chopped into ¼" pieces
½ handful of wheatgrass
½ handful of parsley
Quote:
6 carrots chopped into ¼" pieces
1 apple chopped into ¼" pieces
2 stalks of celery chopped into ¼" pieces
handful of parsley
2 cloves of garlic
After you juice all this stuff, take a look at the pulp bin. That's the healthiest part, right there. Most people aren't going to add that stuff back in because it would be a disgusting, gloppy drink.

Eat all that stuff, istead.

Wow. Never thought of it that way, thanks for debating info. Luckily, I'm already practicing solid eating over juices. I'd much rather eat a whole orange than drink OJ.When it comes to liquids, love water more than anything.
