Default Fish - Sooooo Easy and Good

I rate recipes on how fast they are to make and how few dishes you have to dirty... so this one is a winner for me:

Mix 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tablespoons lemon rind, and 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley.
Put the mixture over any fresh white fish, and grill couple minutes on each side.
Super easy and tasty!

For salmon I use a bit of olive oil and rub it into the fish then I hit one side with black pepper and the other side with some sea salt. Grill for a few min each side then let sit for a couple of minutes before eating.

Cool...thanks for the cooking advice. I will have to try this for dinner along side some boiled carrots, sounds great.

The great thing about fish is that you can rub the fillets and grill or stuff the insides (as in trout) and grill (bake). You can also make fish stew, which very few people do.

Here are two ideas:
Rub for baking on a sheet

olive oil
mix coconut flakes (unsweetened) and lemon grass (usually comes in a jar)
black pepper
rub and bake

Stew
Cut the fish in large pieces, add cut up carrots, celeriac, a few rosemary stalks, salt, pepper, a glass of white wine and a cup of half and half. Put all in a covered pot and stick in the over for an hour. I use a glass pot, but any would work.

If you have a large fish, esp a whole one, here's a nice way to cook it. This works well for 4 to 6 pound fish such as blues or speckled trout.

Clean and dry the fish. Cut slits in the body from top to bottom rough 2" apart. Put some rosemary in there along with a sliver of lemon. In the stomach cavity put some lemon/rosemary. You can use thyme instead of rosemary. Bake at 350 until it's done. I bake mine on foil and loosely cover the fish so it doesn't dry out.

That does sound good and so simple. Any tips on how to keep the fish from falling apart on the grill. It always sticks a little and then by the time I flip it I've completely ruined the appearance. Do you do anything special?
