Default Free Sample of the New GN Cookbook

Just a heads up for all of you at JP Fitness.

Our latest nutrition book - Gourmet Nutrition: The Cookbook for the Fit Food Lover - is now available.

We’ve taken the healthiest ingredients and whipped them into nearly 300 pages of delicious culinary creations that you can serve with confidence to the most discerning foodie – or the most nitpicky nutritionist.

We’ve included detailed cooking instructions and ideas for improvisation. And we’ve even photographed every recipe in beautiful color to show you just how appetizing healthy food can be.

Gourmet Nutrition is the cookbook that’s as friendly to your body as it is to your taste buds, and it’s equally at home on your kitchen counter and your coffee table. Pick it up, read it through, and try it out – we know you’ll love it!
Grab a free sample of the book by clicking here
PS: With this book, we went back to the drawing board and came up with brand new meals: new mains, new sides, new shakes and snacks – new everything. So, if you own the original Gourmet Nutrition, don't worry – these are all new recipes, none of which appeared in the original.

Those recipes look good, John.

You really should include a few pics in the sample, though. When you did the Dessert special cookbook, the pics were amazing. From the pics on the site, it looks to be the same artist, right?

Thanks!

As far as the pics, we do include them in the PDF sample!
(Downloadable on the front page of the site linked to above)

Plus, by simply going to the site and watching the flash title bar, you can see over 10 different photos of recipes in the book.

And you're right...we used the same photographer as we did with the Gourmet Nutrition Desserts book.

Make no mistake, if you're not salivating by just looking at the photos, call 911 because you might be dead.

Duh. There they are...

It just so happened that my previously saved page layout made it perfectly wrong. Just had to scroll or resize. Again, .

They look amazing.

I was gonna post this because I seen the email last night. I like that it is a printed version, which will match the printed version of GN 1.0 I have.

I hope you enjoy it!

From the web site, you'll be able to see that it's a very high quality publication - perhaps the best we've done in terms of photography, content, etc - including my Rodale books.

I'll let you be the judge.

I think I drooled a little bit at some of the photographs. I doubt mine will turn out that nice looking, but as long as the taste is there.

How can you go wrong with Dr Johns chili?

I think its great. The only thing that I miss from GN 1 is the little descriptions on the side of the page. Some of the recipes should say "Dont Double the Recipe" because the Frittata was too large lol.

The only real negative or complaint I would have is the lack of anytime shakes this edition. Only two are AT, which is a limited amount sure to get old quick if you follow the Meal, Snack, Meal, Snack, Meal plan.

Im in love with the Texas Thin Crust. I used the Mission Carb Balance Wheat wraps which drastically increases the fiber content. Those burrito size ones have 21g fiber. You might want to take a look at those JB.

Got mine the other day after holding off because I thought it was like the 1st editon e-version, just updated. I should have read your marketing copy a bit closer - the book is amazing. In the first 24 hours, I tried 5 different recipes; at least 3 of them were "Outstanding" and even my young kids were digging in to my food and saying 'Yum'.

The copy and quality were excellent, surprising since I was expecting a hardcover and was surprised when I received the soft-bound book. But the quality is good and easy to use in the kitchen.

The introductory text seems useful for those unaware of PN principles. I like the pantry list.

The recipes tried so far are VERY tasty. The pics are great.

At $50 delivered, I initially thought that it was a little pricey, but then for 275 glossy pages in a coffee table quality book (and, yeah, the cover and pics are nice enough that my wife let's me leave it out in the kitchen) and not being on the NYT bestseller list so that volume will bring down price, it's not bad.

Overall, I'd say the book is top notch. It's already my favorite among all of the cookbooks we own. I'm considering buying more copies to give as gifts.

PS: JB, your site lists John Williams as one of the authors of this edition and I called him the other day to tell him I'd ordered his new book... he's probably going to hit you up for backpayments of royalties now.

PPS: I'm really looking forward to the distance genetic testing you recently talked about. Hoping you are able to keep that mid-08 launch date.

When I go to the list of products, it says the GN 2.0 is 29.99, when I go to order, it is 39.00 plus shipping, thinking of ordering it, jsut want to verify the exact price.
