Default Shark meat?

I was the only fish on sale the other day. Got a little less than a pound of it and I have clue how to cook it.

In general, you can cook it just like swordfish. It's typically dense and meaty.

I know I'm coming in too late but how long did you marinade it for? 4-5 hours would be good, overnight is best. Without that time, it'll be kind of bland (unless you used a dry rub).

If you're a fish lover it might not appeal to you but if you're a steak guy, then this is as close as you're going to get to steak in a fish.

I tried it this time a bit different, came out well. Marinaded it in louisiana red pepper marinade, covered it in crushed red pepper, powder red pepper and black pepper. nice and spicy.

are you able to buy fresh swordfish for pretty cheap since you're on the coast?

It tastes like pork. I just put it in with some seasonings on top.
