Default Any healthy veggie dip recipes that dont suck?

I love veggies and dip so I am looking for a recipe for some 'healthy dip' that doesnt taste terrible. I have yet to find one that has that tang and zip or real sour-cream/cream cheese drip. Most seem to be bland and lacking flavor.

Thanks!

What's your version of healthy? Low fat? Low carb? Low Omega-6s?

How about Ranch dressing? I make it with the powder, then light or regular canola mayo and milk.

Healthy Being probably <5-6 grams per 2 TBSPs.. Carbs dont matter as they cant add up to too much anyways. Most normal dips have around 10-15grams of fat per 2 TBSPs so having half that would be nice.

I think my Ranch dressing made with the light canola mayo fits. Getting light canola mayo is the hardest part. I get mine at Trader Joe's. I don't think TJ's go all the way up to Canada. Whole Foods also has one, so other "natural" food stores probably have it, too.

use Greek Yogurt (with or without spices/flavors), guacamole, hummus, other bean-based dips - which you can further flavor with middle-east or indian or mexican or thai flavor profiles.

Yes, hummus is YUMMY! And you can get it in so many different flavors.

Easiest one I know is add a packet of Ranch dressing mix to lowfat plain yogurt.

Blend lowfat cottage cheese in the blender until smooth, add herbs and black pepper, or dressing mix, maybe a bit of grated Parmesan.

I love hummus -

1 can of garbanzo beans
1 tablespoon tahini
1/2 of one lemon, juiced
3 cloves roasted garlic, sundried tomatoes, or roasted red peppers
good solid pinch of salt
good glug of olive oil

Puree.

Eat.

Change pants.
