News for Curious Cooks

If you've ever read On Food and Cooking, by Harold McGee, you might be interested in his blog.

McGee is sort of a food scientist and historian. Like Alton Brown, but not so much funny...

I've always enjoyed the science behind the cooking. Great book, for those of you who want to know the esoteric stuff behind the foods that we eat (and those that we don't or shouldn't eat, as well).

A favorite book. Also got one for kid. Glad to hear he has a web site, I'm on it - now - thanks
