Default Fave. Gourmet Nutrition Recipes

Hello,

I totally forgot I had this book until a thread reminded me. After opening it up I realized how many kick-ass recipes it has so I printed it off and got it bound.

I was wondering if you guys had any recipes that you would consider must-make from the book?

the chilli is one of my faves. The mixed nut bar as well. I think quite a number of people like this as well I think. I heard JB talking about it over the fitcast recently too

The chili is good. You can make a huge batch and eat for days.

The bars are pretty tasty, too.

I love the peanut butter fudge protein bars. I make those all the time.

Another favorite JB recipe of mine was not actually in GN but got sent out by email later and is also available on his website. It's really worth the time to cut up all the veggies and every time I make it the family always loves it (that's a real test of a good recipe!).

It's the Stir Fry Veggie Extravaganza.

I really like the recipe for Greek burgers and the pecan-crusted salmon. The soups are all very tasty, too.

Tuna burgers, chicken squash and apple casserole.

And I love those peanut butter fudge protein bars. I rarely make them into bars, though. It's too much fun to make them into all sorts of shapes, like edible Play-Doh.

I just recently got the book so I haven't had a chance to try too many recipes. However, I absolutely love the kung pao chicken and the chocolate peanut butter shake.
