I can't imagine it would be good. Wouldn't it be like the gelatin stuff you find around the canned ham?

One thing you could do, I've tried before and turned out really well, is just mixing some protein powder in with the jell-o before you set it (so add it to the water). It works the best with fruit flavored protein obviously (I used Nectar's Syntrax).

Diet Jello is fine. No sugar.

Does the recipe have jello gelatin or Jello brand pudding?

I make sugar-free fat-free jello according to package directions, and stir in 1 cup of pureed fat-free cottage cheese. Then I put it into serving cups and chill for a few hours. It's actually really good! It's a great snack before bed, because it's low in calories, high in protein, and settles my sweet tooth. My favorite flavors are lime and raspberry.

I normally puree the cottage cheese in my food processor, as it is smoothest that way.

My Mom used to make a "salad" like that at xmas, only I am sure it had more sugars in it. But it was lime jello and cottage cheese into a mold. I was the only one who really liked it though.

kinda like this....

Hey, Og, is that lime Jello, cottage cheese and pineapple? My Mom makes that. My brother-in-law thinks it's the greatest thing, but I've hated it since I was a kid.

My mom made that too! I loved that. It was lime jello, cottage cheese, canned pineapple and pecans. Very yummy.

(If somebody really wants it I might even be able to locate the recipe!)

I tried jello and protein powder. That was not good to my taste buds! Yuck.

I LOVE jello and cottage cheese. I eat this all time. I buy sugar free jello and make it, then I add 1/2 cup or 1 cup off cottage cheese depending on the macros I want. Let it set and wa-laa! Yummy. My fave is peach or strawberry.
