Default Protein powder in oatmeal

I have been putting the protein powder in the bowl first, then when the oatmeal is done cooking on the stove, I will just dump it over the powder. While this does work it's quite difficult to mix and it tends to clump a lot. I didn't know if maybe anyone has a better way of going about this? Maybe it's just my powder (GNC 100% Whey). I just ordered some from trueprotein.com so maybe that will work better. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

You might want to try mixing the powder with some water, enough to become thick liquid and then slowly pour it on top of the oatmeal. Also, wait a bit for the oatmeal to cool off before you do that.

I make my oatmeal thicker than normal, then sprinkle the powder on the top and stir. No clumps. I add a little water, if needed.

Quaker Oats also makes oatmeal with extra protein included. I used to make my protein shake and just drink it while I ate my oatmeal

I hated adding protein poweder to my oatmeal, I never really liked the results.

THen I bought a cheap $20 per 1000g container of "Exact" whey protein from Superstore out here in Alberta. has 26g of protein per 35g serving. Mixes in oats like a dream. Very pleased with it actually.

I was initially put off by it because it's serving size is two scoops so I was like well no wonder it has so much protein. It's actually grab you just use twice as much. But upon closer look the serving size of 35g is pretty close to the other brands.
