Question Peanut Butter

As part of my bulk up, I want to use as much of this high-calorie source as possible. I currently only really use it for shakes & the PB fudge bars from Gourmet Nutrition.

So I was wondering if you would share your simple ideas for getting as much of this as possible in the form of a simple snack. Thanks

Ants on a log?

Other ways I eat it:
Scoop it up with apple wedges.
Eat it spread on a banana.
Eat the nuts themselves (in trail mix w/ raisins, dehydrated fruit etc. works great)
Try a thai peanut sauce (I think you can find some healthier versions here)

*borderline unhealthy* spread it on a piece of extremely dark chocolate
-> I hear it's good for the heart

*extreme* mix it in with some cottage cheese, vanilla extract and splenda
-> This is a personal favorite of mine

Might try other whole nuts as well (walnuts & almonds offer their own benefits)

I keep a jar at my desk, and spread it liberally over low fat Crackers. I put it on granola bars too, in a pinch. And apples, man, slice an apple, load it up...yum!

Yes, but you have to lick it off. The weights damage your teeth if you try to chew them.

Blend it up with Chocolate Protein and a banana...good shake. Or even just some milk blended with it...not bad either. Or with just a spoon...mmmmmmmmm

Even non-Canadians eat it directly from a jar with a spoon!

Of course you all mean natural PB.

I just go with the Planters lightly salted mixed nuts. The only problem is I HATE hazel nuts. They just taste completly different than all of the other nuts and can easily ruin a hand full if your not paying attention.

from a large jar or in a can,
I have recipes, I have a plan!

I savor peanut butter on whole wheat,
and PB oatmeal cookies are quite a treat.

you can ground the peanuts and then let the oil go to the top and take the oil off.

I'm with the straight-out-of-the-jar-with-a-spoon crowd

Dr Suess version:

You can eat it from a jar
You can eat it in the car
You can have it with Bread and Jam
You can share it with Sam I Am.

Getting a little punchy I am leaving for Vacation in a few hours.

Adam's Natural Creamy in the 26oz jar, straight up with a spoon. As soon as I open one jar I buy another, and set it upside down in a cabinet in my office. When I open it I stir in the oil (I have NO idea why anyone would dream of pouring this nectar off, but anywho...keeping it upside down for a week or so seems to make stirring the oil back in a little easier) and then stick it in the fridge. Keep it refrigerated and the oil won't separate out.

I like to make a PB Eggo Waffle sandwich every now and then....but usually I just eat it with a spoon. I'm hooked on the Skippy Natural now....so much better than Smucker's Natural.
