Saturday night pizza??
So Shannon was having some friends over and they cooked up some deliscio pizza.
I elected not to eat this and instead made my own pies.
I used small whole wheat pitas, 150 cals per pita.
I added some pizza sauce, I used a canned variety that is low in sugar and calories, take a look though your grocery store for something similar.
To this base I added lean ground turkey, sundried tomatoes and red peppers. I covered in a part skim mozza cheese and cooked for about 10 minutes. The crust was pretty crispy and over all they turned out very well.
I had no desire to eat the deliscio pizza and was perfectly happy with my whole wheat ones.
