Ok, maybe a little high calorie, but damn they were good. Here's what I used -

2 Salmon Patties (I get them from Costco, 6 0z, preformed)
1/4 cup Herdez Salsa (If you haven't tried this stuff, get some. Holy cow it's good)
4 taco shells

Fried patties, then chop into bits, heat shells, and load them up with salmon and salsa.

One serving of 4 =
620 calories
52 g protein
2.5 g sat fat

Sounds good to me! I'm with you on the Herdez, too. Protein, tortillas, and salsa. See, cooking is easy.

Trader Joe's has some frozen salmon "burgers." Basically, just round cuts of salmon, sorta pressed together. 100% salmon, although very low in fat for some reason. I cook them up and use them for tacos all the time.

Trader Joes!! They opened one up about 12 miles from me. I think I may go there tomorrow.

lol, cooking can be easy. It's amazing what you can come up with when the wife is out of town.

Thumbs down

Made me think of when I tried to make shark fajitas... they would have GAGGED A MAGGOT! Wrong marinade. Glad your tacos came out well!!!
