*sigh* I wish I could eat raw apples. I do put natty pb on celery though...not nearly as good. Any other ideas on how to eat pb?

Yeah...another one of my strange body issues..lol.

The whole wheat peanut-butter cookies listed on there sound pretty good.
Substitute the eggs with whites, and the sugar maybe with splenda maybe. Hmm, I think I already have all of the ingredients. Might have to try them out. Thanks.

Freakin' awesome! Granny Smith and pb are the best. Also, natty PB on bananas are good (although a bit dry).

Try the HoneyCrisp apples, if your store has them. They are $2.79/lb here but they are really good. I guess Pink Lady's are out of season so a friend recommended these. ...and, yes, with PB, they are awesome!

HoneyCrisp? Neverheard of them. I'll see if one of the local markets carries them. One of the links on that web page calls them "exceptionally crisp", that's right in my wheelhouse.

Q - got my hands on a few of those Honeycrisp apples, appreciate the heads up. Tangy, crunchy, and a little sweet. Good stuff!

can't remember how much I paid (although I do remember thinking it was reasonable), but even my 8 yo loved it, ate the whole thing in no time. I'll definitely be back for more of those.

If you can get Mutsu (Crispin) apples...they're green like Granny Smith and have a great sweet/tart taste. Picked some up while in Shelby, NC....my daughter ate a whole one on the ride home (damn apple was larger than my fist). Great with natty PB too. I might go have one right now.
