Yesterday I bought some lean turkey sausage and grilled it on a George Foreman grill. Bad idea. I'm sorry but I almost gag after taking a bite of the stuff. The texture is real tough and the taste is not that appealing to me. I have five more of these things and I don't want to throw it away because it would be a waste of money. Is there any food that I could hide the meat into so I don't taste it? Any recipes consits of grinding this meat?

Are they the kind of sausage that you could open up and crumble? If so, you can add it to sauces. Or, brown it up and use it in omelettes, etc.

You could crumble it and mix it with ground beef, lamb, turkey, or chicken for burgers.

If it's the dense kind that you can slice up, try slicing it up first, and cooking it in a pan. Then, you can add it to soups, like gumbo or bean soup.
