Question

Hey guys,

i'm trying my best to eat clean and healthy-lean meats, lots of fruits and veggies, whole wheat bread only when i eat it, lots of water, laying off junk food, etc. However, with lunchs, a couple of days a week, i have sandwiches. I know there are better alternatives, but sometimes, it the only thing i can do. So, i was wondering: what cold cuts are the healthiest? and how healthy are they actually?

Thanks a lot guys

I wouldn't worry too much about having sandwiches a couple times a week as long as you keep the ingredients clean. As far as cold-cuts go, try to get cuts of turkey that are from a whole turkey (not processed), if that's not possible don't worry about it. Something you might try is cooking up some chicken breasts, slicing it up and than putting it into your sandwich as an alternative to cold-cuts. That's what I've been doing recently, and I think it tastes much better. If you need more info I would check out Doug's Fitness Forum the guys over there really know their stuff.
