I had a hankerin' for three-bean salad, so looked them up on the net. I didn't have yellow wax beans or kidney beans or garbanzos handy, but I've gone tons of green beans. So, it's One Bean Salad.

One Bean Salad
1 can green beans, drained
1/4 cup cider vinegar
Splenda, Equal, etc. to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Put everything in a bowl. Stir. Eat immediately or let sit for a while. Or, refridgerate to take in your cooler tomorrow...

I prefer to get my fats from solid foods, so I skipped oil, but a bit of oil might be tasty for those so inclined. Perhaps the flax oil eaters could try it, as it's uncooked.

I'll have to add some other types of beans to the shopping cart, next time.

You know, almost no replies to this simple, easy recipe, but I have to say it is one hell of a way to kick up the green beans. You get a flavor full bowl of beans with almost no calories and plenty of calories. Combine 2 cans of green beans and by the size I am using we are still at about 100 cals.

I think his 1/4 cup vinegar is pretty high though, I just dump some on. Whatever I have, you can get all sorts of flavors now.

YAY!

So, now you're 96 cals short. You're now in starvation mode. Doomed.

1/4 is too much. I was just guessing.

When I made them this morning, I used 2 tablespoons of vinegar and one can of green beans.
