MY GF gave me this and it's damn good. I usually eat 6 egg whites, oatmeal, and a protein shake for breakfast. Then she gave this idea for a twist.

In a blender...mix your oatmeal, egg whites, and protein powder. Obviously add water, and instead of 6 egg whites, use 2-3 and make up the missing protein with some extra protein powder. I use Vanilla flavor and add splenda to make up for the lack of taste of regular oatmeal.

There is your batter for the pancakes and cook as you would a regular pancake.

Use sugar free syrup and you have a great breakfast.

Hope you like.

I do a similar recipe, albeit a lot less complicated. Bisquick batter with a couple eggs and some milk, with a scoop of Blueberry Muscle Milk, and a cup of fresh blueberries.

Use REAL maple syrup if you need to use syrup.

Having seen his girlfriend, I can say that if that is what she eats, it works. Time to get MY wife to eat it.

Kaiser...LMAO...

JP, what is the carb count on bisquick batter??? I ask because I do take in a fair amount of carbs from the oatmeal. Same thing with the syrup and milk, is it good to have all those sugar carbs?

BTW, this is what I eat after working out. I lift @ 5:30 am, get home and either do this, or most of the time, everyhing seperate.

Any other breakfast suggestions?
