How do I embed a video?

I know I should know this, but I can't find it anywhere . .

How does one embed a video?

is it youtube? pick up the unique ID from the URL (it is the part after v=)
and then in your post put it between two youtube indicators like this
[utube]ddf3rkjf[/utube]

except spell out youtube instead of utube

Instead of "[ youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =HhHwnrlZRus[/youtube ]" get rid of the stuff from the http to the v=

Like this, but get rid of the spaces before and after "youtube." I had to include the spaces so you could read it.
