Default Becoming Forum Literate

Can someone point me to a link or explain how to do the following:

1. Subscribe to people's logs (and once I've subscribed how to view them--I think this has something to do with user CP)
2. How to quote multiple statements from previous posters to respond (like everyone does so nicely with the blue boxes.)

Thanks.

multi-quote -
at the bottom of a post, there is a button with the word QUOTE and a button showing the classic "double quotes" (as I just used to quote that phrase).
Hit the "double quotes" button on each post you want to include in the multi and then click "post reply" button (not the quick reply box or just the enter key).

subscribing:

two options -
1 in user CP under Options, there is one about subscriptions:
Quote:
When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
you can choose a subscription mode that will subscribe you to any thread that you reply to -

If you want more control, you can do as I do. I set my Options to not subscribe, and then use the Thread Tools pulldown to subscribe while reading any thread I want to subscribe to - whether I've posted in it or not. And no *subscribe* post needed.

to view: if you just click User CP - you will see all subscribed threads with new posts.

I'll tackle this one later.

Hopefully, I am demonstrating my new ability.

Thanks for your help.
