The last few posters in my log said that they are having issues reading/replying...is this where I would post about that? It looks fine/works fine for me...and then I had a PM today saying this:
"On my home computer and on my work computer both, the current users box and the quick reply boxes show up inside one of your responses. I haven't seen any responses even though I can see they are being made."
It may be something that an admin can't fix. If it's a user with multiple computers, it might have to do with their account, but otherwise I'm guessing it's mainly a machine/browser issue.
Clearing cache may help, or restarting the browser, or rebooting machine.
First I'd try a different browser than the default one they're using and see if that fixes it.
However, it may be that you have something random in your log, like a bad tag, that makes some choke on it, but again that'd prolly be solved by using a different browser.
But, that would mean it'd also go away as soon as they hit a new page on your log, so if they reduce the number of posts per page (to be on a new page sooner) they may have it clear up.
I know and understand that. But, I'm thinking it's either a weird artifact/tag/somethign in her log that's making the browsers choke, or it's the browser itself.
Basically, since browsers still handle html and other code differently, there's a chance a random thing is at issue here. (yes, I edited prolly after you posted)
Esp if everyone having issues is using the same browser, (esp the same rev of the browser) but even if different it could still be at issue.
The main reason I'm thinking it's not "really" a jp issue is that only a few people have the problem. Versus some of the other weirdness we see that's more widespread.
I tried looking at that post, but I'm here at work using IE. The tag isn't letting me access the edit function. Maybe one of the other mods has a different browser and can get to it. If they're having the same problem, maybe one of us could delete the post altogether. Kristin, are you okay with that?
