There are a couple of threads I'd like to read in "novel" form, but span some 50+ pages. Is there a way to force every single post into one screen so I can save it into a file to read later?
Thank you!!!

You can alter the number of posts you see on a page, although there is a maximum.
Your potential best bet is to simply copy everything on the page and paste into something else. I've done a bit of digging and so far, there isn't a trick to it, it's just the way it is.
If you set your view to no avatars and stuff like that, you'll reduce the amount if you print each page as is, but even the archive at the bottom just brings you back to the vb page we're used to seeing.
Someone else may know more, however. This is just based on what I've been noticing over the years from VB.
You can click on "Thread Tools" and then "Show Printable Version" to help reduce the clutter if you are going to go the copy and paste route. There will be a link to show 40 posts per page in that format, and you can see url format for that, but again there is a limit to the posts per page(maybe 40, definitely below 300).
Your best bet would be to do what Buk said and use the 'printable version' , save it as a text format and then read it off-line in a text program.. that way you can read all the way to the end w/o having to click on next page. That is assuming you've set your text program (Word?) as a continuous reading file.
It's what I've done when saving my own logs a while ago when afraid the forum might crash one day.
Unfortunately the "printable format" still only shows 50 posts per page.... so your thread, Espi, is still about 40 page loads of cutting and pasting!
Hmm....

Well… if you go to the printable version, and you go to print it, and save it to a file instead (easy on mac - just save as pdf, not so sure about windows, but I do remember long ago "print to file") that would give you each page, but not through all the pages. But it'd not require cut and paste, and if you just went to each page and did it, not terrible amounts of time.
That's about the best cheat I can come up with. (Whether or not it matters at this point notwithstanding, just occurred to me as I'm dealing with subbed threads.)
