Default JP Fitness Summit 2007 DVD????

JP / Anyone:

Is there going to be a 2007 DVD?

2006 DVD with Bill Hartman was excellent!!!! According to JP on old fitcast interview there was to be a professional taping & DVD production of the 2007 Summit.

Anyone have any info ?? Is there going to be a 2008 DVD??

Thanks!

Gordon

Funny you should mention that. Just yesterday I finally quit procrastinating and did the final edits to the DVD. They will be pressed and ready and sent off to my distributor tomorrow. The last thing I need is artwork for the cover. I'm going real basic though, so it shouldn't take long.

Thanks for the update JP!

Can you give me a heads up on what / who is going to be on the DVD? Any chance that it is going to be multiple DVD's?

I would love to make the summit but since I am always swamped with work the DVD is the next best thing.

I would rate the 2006 DVD in the 10 top DVD/VHS on training I have seen and I personally have over 200 tape & DVD's

Wow... That's quite a testimonial. Course, I can't take any credit for it. The secret to a great DVD is getting freakishly smart people to do the speaking.

It will be a multi-disc set actually, now that you asked. It will have 10 DVDs. That's a lot of time plopped in front of a TV, but the speakers were fantastic, and every one of them had something unique that made their DVD a must-see!

Thanks for the mini-fire under my butt. I'm glad I actually did that work this week so I would actually have an answer other than, "uh... I'm working on it." I will announce it here when it's ready to order.

WOW!!! 10 DVD's, that is out doing last years summit DVD by a factor of 10!!!

I can't wait for you to release it! I hope you are planning to film the 2008 summit as well if I can't make it.

I gave the 2006 DVD such a high rating because not on was the quality of the filming better than most but more importantly Bill was a great speaker with usable information and not just trying to upsell other products. Also the info was not outdated.

Question Any news 0n 2007 DVD??

Hey JP,

Any news on the release date of the 2007 DVD set?? You have already had the 2008 summit or will have it soon, not sure of the final date you settled on. (I hope you are making a DVD of that too!)?

I really hope the DVD's are coming soon and I am already making plans to do 2009 in person - assuming (hoping) you are having a 2009 summit.

Thanks!

Wow... Great timing. It's ready to be ordered. It will be up on my shopping cart tomorrow. It's a 10 DVD set.

You should consider actually coming to my summit. It's in one month!

Cool! - can't wait to get the DVD set!

JP I would love to come but I am moving in June and finishing grad school, so I think 2009 will be the year I invade Littlerock. Anyway I would have so many questions the presenters would probably kick me out!

Did this ever get released?

Also, did the address of the store change? When I go there and try to purchase the 2006 summit DVD it takes me to the shopping cart home page.

Talking FOUND 2007 DVD SET!!!!

O.K.

After searching the web I finally found JP's fitness cart where you register for the 2008 summit, there is where the 2006 & 2007 Summit DVDs can be ordered from.

The 2007 DVD is a 10 DVD set (2006 is 1 DVD -but it is AWESOME!)

The 2007 Summit DVD set is NOT on the JP Store page

Here is the link for the cart.

Lets hope it works and I get the DVDs - I will post an update when I get the DVDs or information.

Later!!

You guys found me out! Dang it, I was trying to keep those a secret!

I am still working on doing a formal launch with banner graphics, affiliates, and such. Sorry it has taken me so long. It's hard to do all the little stuff that needs to get done when my business, this forum, the summit, and my family take up so much of my time.

Hope you guys like it. My production level went up quite a bit on this one.

Default Sorry for spoiling the surprise!!!

Sorry JP,

but when your post said that the DVDs were going up tomorrow I started hunting!!

The 2006 dvd was great!!! and the fact that 2007 is 10 dvds is incredible.

I love having the greatest resources & quality info around because it is the only thing I have to offer my clients and keep me in business ahead of most trainers in my area.

two important tips that I find hold true and are the foundation for much of my training:

"Always keep your knowledge & information base at least 10% ahead of your clients "(or why would they need you??) - Paul Chek

"You need to be able to deliver repeatable results faster than your competition" - Alwyn Cosgrove

Thanks for helping to keep me in business - I hope to attend 2009 live!

Did you film the 2008 summit for another DVD set?? (I hope!)

Yes, I recorded this one this year. Hopefully it won't take me as long to get it out this year. Hoping to hire an assistant this year to make me a little more efficient.

Lightbulb great resource for assistants

JP,

I know you participated in Ryan Lee's fitexpo, in one of the lectures - I think it was Ryan or Jim Labadie they suggested using online assistants from E-lance.com or guru.com

You post what you need done and people send you their resumes & costs per hour to do the tasks you need etc. You can e-mail them specific questions and then choose one if you like them - no financial commitment until (if) you choose someone.

I found a great woman to handle all my marketing and advertising starting this fall (maybe sooner) and it costs me less than $20.00 per hour and I can have her work as many or LITTLE as hours as a I can afford per month.

They have assistants who do all your leg work and box up and take DVDs etc to the post office. They are really great services.
