Why am I not able to post them? I was able to before the changes. Has something in my profile changed?

I'll check into it. I haven't really attached anything since the move myself. I actually want to be able to attach more types of files. For example, I tried to get mp3 format to upload, but it didn't work. Hopefully susie will see this and step in.

hi there,

ive set it so registered users can upload attachments. though Jean-Paul, do you want to put a cap on how much they can upload? just to be on the safe side, it might be worth thinking about.

susie

I don't mind having a cap as long as there is some sort of index that people can access when they reach their limit so they can go back and figure out what they need to remove. But that starts to sound complicated.

hi JP,

those are already enabled. however the max file size theyre set to is 500k per file. this is ok if the users know how to compress the files. otherwise most wav and mp3 files can run in excess of 6MB per file.

here's a list of possible softwares to compress the files, but im not sure folk will want to bother doing that:

if you'd like the file size increased, let me know the size you'd like to go to. also keep in mind these will chew up your space and bandwidth.
