At age twenty he lost over a third of his body mass following FDA guidelines and only later discovered the joys of weight training, turning an otherwise practical hobby into an impassioned intellectual pursuit.
He is currently writing a book that synthesizes a half-decade of fitness experience with his unique, academic skill set. His work has appeared in T-Muscle, The Alan Aragon Research Review, and Dragon Magazine.
Bret may be an unfamiliar face to many of you at JP's, but if you read any of his articles at T-Nation (or if you're a guy, look at this picture) you'll be convinced that Bret knows his stuff and will be a great addition to the summit.
****************************** ******************************
The Hotel: The same as last year, The Holiday Inn at the Plaza. Same room rate as last year too--$99 a night--so that's just $50 a night if you room with someone.
The Airport Transportation: There's the Super Shuttle and the Holiday Inn Shuttle, and both cost ~$20 each way. We will make a concerted effort to pick up every forumite from the airport, but we can't promise to get everyone. Just coordinate your times if possible with other forumites, and you should be good.
The How To: I'm not accepting registrations now. That will start January 4th, when the registration page is unveiled. I'm just announcing the summit now, because I know with the December holidays no one will be registering before the new year. Hotel booking instructions will be also be released then as well.
