Scott Cory, profiled in October's Outside magazine.

"In 2001, Cory became the youngest person to ever top out in El Capitan's Nose route, completing in 13 hours and 40 minutes and ascent that takes most climbers 3 days. This June, he and Yosemite speed-climbing legend Hans Florine, 39, spidered up Half Dome's 2,000 foot face in just over 14 hours."

Whoa! That is one impressive kid! Fearless too apparently. The "Nose" at El Cap is one of the most intimidating cliffs in the world. It is over 3,000 vertical feet!
