Default golf, anyone?

I know there is usually some argument about the status of golf as a sport- but this is the outdoor fun forum.
So - is anyone watching the US Open?

growing up, if we had family occasions, my dad, the uncles would all be watching golf on Sunday afternoons and we kids would be off doing something and suddenly there'd be this sound from the den -- 5 or 6 male voices all saying "OHHHH" in unison - pretty funny.

the last hour or so yesterday watching Tiger on the back nine was pretty interesting - today so far - let's just say I'm in and out of the room.

It was baseball or football in our house depending on the season.

As for Tiger...today at lunch my brother said watching him this weekend was amazing.

I was watching all weekend. Tiger was amazing and I was thrilled to see him come back. This was my first real tourney watching, ever.
I have never golfed myself but I found a new respect and enjoyment.
