Didn't know where else to put this - Laser Hair Removal
Hiya everybody!
I'm looking to get laser hair removal done on my face .. has anybody has any experience with this procedure at all? Or am I the only woman on the planet who undergoes extreme pain every 2 weeks 'coz of my orangutan'ish hair growth?
I'm looking to get it done in New York, and am looking for a place that's affordable and does a good job. Any input is much appreciated.
I had it done but I'm not sure I'd recommend it. It is painful and the results weren't the greatest. I was supposed to be the perfect type (light skin and dark hair) and it did get rid of the hair for about 6 months after the last treatment, but then it started to grow back! It's not as bad as it was before I went so it wasn't a total loss, but I am disappointed that about 70% of the hair grew back.
The doctor told me before I started that it's not guaranteed to get rid of all the hair, but they do strive for a success rate of 80% permanent hair removal. That was not my experience but everyone is different so maybe you'll have good results.
