Default Migraine issue

I would like to start going to the gym but I'm worried that I won't be able to complete my programs due to migraine. See, my migraine is triggered by PMS. When this happens, I get really really sick. Temporary blindness, nausea, etc. And it can last for around two days. My pain reliever can't stop it. Any suggestions in treating the migraine so I can go on and get an exercise program? Thanks. Jean.

You could just be flexible and just take off the days when you have a migraine and start up again where you left off.

I also suffer from migraines. I tried everything and finally gave botox a try. Botox has been a life saver for me! My last treatment was back in March and I've only had two since that date. Both times the migraines were PMS related. This is HUGE for me because I was suffering several times a month.

What type of medicine are you taking for the migraines?

A variety of drugs have been specifically designed to treat migraines. In addition, some drugs commonly used to treat other conditions also may help relieve or prevent migraines.

Are you on a triptan? These have been a lifesaver for me.

Have you seen a neurologist? I don't know what you've tried or if you have drug sensitivities, but a neurologist can help you find a treatment that works for you, or at least helps you out. It may just be a trial and error process. In the meantime, you could go ahead and start your workouts and rest during your migraine days.

Coffee, Chocolate (this is what my GMother says), Binge eating, Stress, Tiredness, Anxiety ---> all stressors that lead to migraines in my mind.

Hey! I don't know if you are still looking for some help with this but my doctor put me on Trazadone. It's for depression but alternatively used for migraines!!! I reccommend asking. It's not known to make you gain weight either, I know I asked
